Having an Alberta boating license, also known as a Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC), is a mandatory requirement for operating a pleasure craft in Alberta. By obtaining a PCOC, boaters can demonstrate that they have the knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate a vessel.
